Configuring Your Payment Processor's Thresholds

Your credit card processor may have additional controls to manage fraud. Follow these steps to ensure billing transactions aren't blocked.

Updated over a week ago

When setting the fraud thresholds in your payment processor's platform, please adhere to the following best practices:

CVV Restrictions
In order for recurring billing to process, you will need to remove the option that requires you to include the CVV.  You still want to validate the CVV, but you do not need to require this.  The PeopleVine front-end UI will require the CVV for first-time credit card use, but we do not store it for future transactions, therefore it can not be required if you use recurring billing.

IP Address Limitations
If you put IP address limitations, please make sure you include the following IP addresses from our server.

  • 168.62.225.22

  • 168.62.226.18

  • 168.62.226.19

  • 168.62.225.21

Required Fields
When processing payments in PeopleVine, we will always require the billing address (address and zip code) and CVV from your end users.  However, these fields are not required when your staff uses the Control Panel.
