You can make it easy for people to browse your events (in larger view) by offering a Next Event link to your layout (or leverage it in our out of the box version).

We made it easier for your people to browse through your events by clicking on the Next Event button located in the top right of our out of the box events page.

You can also leverage this in a custom layout by linking to /event/{@event_no@}/next where {@event_no@} is going to be the event you are looking at.  This feature will enable your users to scroll through events from left to right (earliest to latest).  When it hits the end, it will take them back to the calendar.
