Peoplevine membership ID cards, event tickets and guest passes can be scanned in via a barcode or QR code reader installed at your front desk. Peoplevine generates the QR codes on your behalf but you will need to download our Check-In app to an ipad in order to scan them.

There are both free and paid QR reader apps available. We tested some out for you:

Peoplevine offers a free download of our Check-In App available for the ipad. This app allows you to look up members, scan in guests and event tickets. Simply install it on an iPad and you can start scanning and validating digital items (QR code or Bar Code).

If your Peoplevine dashboard is https://control.peoplevine.com, then you are in Region 1

If your dashboard URL is https://control.peoplevine.co.uk/, then you are in Region 2

Once you have selected your region from the downloaded app, you can login using your usual Peoplevine login credentials.

You can setup hardware on you front desk to allow a clearer check in station for your members. This set up will require a computer and a scanner, allowing an individual to scan a digital or a printed QR/ barcode.

For iOS:

Free apps often include advertisements but we found QR Reader by Scan to work very well. QR Reader by TapMedia LTD is similar but slower.

QR Scanner, Quick Scan, Bakodo, Red Laser, and Qrafter either didn't pick up alternate color codes or had too many advertisements.

Scan-QR Code and Barcode Reader is currently $1.99 (on sale from $4.99) but offers great performance at higher speed than the free options, with no disruptive ads.
